East Leake Academy is proud to welcome Sarah Rhodes and Ashley Ward as our newly appointed parent governors.

Sarah Rhodes joined in November 2024 and brings a passion for education’s role in shaping young futures. With a background as a project expert in business transformation, she is committed to ensuring students have access to opportunities that help them thrive. Sarah lives locally with her family and enjoys cycling and going to the gym in her spare time.

Ashley Ward joined in February 2025 and is the vice principal and deputy designated safeguarding lead at Millside Spencer Academy, a local primary and feeder school. As a strong advocate for education, he is dedicated to supporting ELA’s leadership team in delivering high-quality education and maintaining its World Class Academy status.
